If you’re like most warehouse managers, you probably clean your floor once a week. But is that enough? “Most people think that just sweeping and mopping is enough,” says Jeff Koons, warehouse manager for the company ABC Supply. “But if the floor is dirty, it’s going to be dirty again.” To clean a warehouse floor effectively, Koons recommends using a broom and dustpan followed by a mop. “Start at the top of the room and work your way down,” he says. “Make sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.” Koons also recommends using a vacuum cleaner on high settings to remove any dirt or debris that has been missed by hand cleaning. And finally, make sure to seal any cracks or crevices in the floor with caulk or silicone sealant. ..
