There are a few things you can do to clean a recorder before you use it again.

  1. Remove the battery and clean the contacts with a dry cloth or a paper towel.
  2. Remove any dust or dirt that may have built up on the recorder’s internals.
  3. Wipe down the exterior of the recorder with a mild soap solution and dry it off.
