If you’re a pit boss, you know that a Vertical Smoker is one of the most popular smoking devices on the market. It’s simple to use and can produce amazing results. But if you’re not careful, cleaning your Vertical Smoker can be a challenge. Here are some tips to help clean your Vertical Smoker:
- Start by unplugging the Vertical Smoker from the power source. This will prevent any sparks or heat from building up and causing damage to the device.
- Pour a pot of water onto the VerticalSmoker’s heating element and wait until it begins to heat up. then pour enough water onto the element so that it starts to steam. Be sure to keep an eye on the water level so that it doesn’t get too high or it will start creating sparks.
- Once the water has started steaming, use a plunger to push and pull out all of the dirt, ash, and other debris that has built up on top of the VerticalSmoker’s heating element. Be sure not to damage any of the device’s components in this process!
- Once all of the debris has been removed, pour another pot of water onto the heating element and wait until it begins to steam again. Then pour enough water ontothe element so that it starts to create hot air bubbles (this is called “flushing”). Be sure notto overfill or else your VerticalSmoker will become damaged during flushing process!
- Finally, use a vacuum cleaner with suction cups to suck all ofthe air out ofthe VerticalSmoker’s internals (this is called “purging”). Make sure notto overfill or else your VerticalSmoker will become damaged during purging process!
