If you are a minor on PlayStation 4, there are a few ways to change your age. You can use the PlayStation Network account management system to change your age, or you can use the PlayStation Store’s “My Games & Apps” feature to change your age. To change your age on PlayStation 4, follow these steps:
- Log into the PlayStation Network account management system and create a new account if you don’t have one already. If you already have an account on PlayStation 4, log in and select “Change my age.” If you don’t have an account on PlayStation 4, create one now.
- In the “My Games & Apps” section of the " Playstation Store," find and open “PS4 Age Settings.” This will open a new window that looks like this: (If you’re using an iPhone or Android device) If you’re using an iPhone or Android device, open the Google Play Store app and search for " Playstation4 Age Settings." The app will look different depending on which device you’re using. - In this window, set your desired age by ticking one of the boxes below: 18 years old or younger; 19 years old or older; 20 years old or older; 21 years old or older; 22 years old or older; 23 years old or older; 24 years old or older; 25 years old or older; 26 years old or older; 27 years old orolder (or younger). If you want to set your desired age as early as 18 months old, tick “0 months” in the box below. If you want to set your desired age as late as 25 years old, tick “25 Years Old” in the box below.

- In this window, set your desired age as follows: 18 years old is the default setting. If you want to set a different age, please enter it in parentheses after 18 years old in step 2 above. For example, if you want to set your age to 21 years old, enter 21 (instead of 18). You can also choose not to set an age at all by clicking “None.” If you do not choose an age in step 3 above, then PS4 will automatically set your desired age according to your birthdate (or whichever date is currently displayed in your PS4 console).
